Delivering Life’s Vital Essence to Residents and Students

Maligathenna Maha Vidyalaya is home to more than 1,340 students, and approximately 450 families reside in the village of Maligathenna. Unfortunately, they all face the significant hardship of lacking access to clean drinking water.

The groundwater in the area is highly contaminated and unfit for use. As a result, the villagers of Maligathenna are forced to purchase drinking water from distant locations, facing numerous challenges due to the high cost of water.

To address this pressing issue, Gammadda has stepped forward to lay the foundation stone for a purified RO water filter, made possible through the generous support of Mrs. Manthrini Amarasingha from Rajagiriya.
