A Light in the Dark

Upper Cranley Tamil Vidyalaya was founded in 1924. It will be celebrating it's centenary soon. However, till today, the school didn't have electricity. It seemed to be an unattainable dream. A wish that would never be fulfilled. On 2/11/2022 Gammadda made this dream a reality by establishing a connection to the electricity grid. Now students can study under gloomy conditions where there is little natural light- they can even stay after school and get extra tuition. The 65 students of Upper Cranley can finally dream. They can finally dream bigger dreams.
