Sandamali and Asela are parents of two children living in the rural Walsapugala area in Sooriyawewa, Hambantota. They work as daily wage laborers, striving to support their children’s education despite their challenging circumstances. Walsapugala is an area frequented by elephants, leading to frequent human-elephant conflicts. In addition to these challenges and food scarcity, the primary issue they struggle with is the lack of a proper house.
To address this,Gammadda came forward to fulfill this dream of Sandamali's little family with the financial contribution of the late Mrs. Methseelee Ehrrich. The foundation stone for the new house was laid at an auspicious moment on the 21st November.
