Gammadda's Initiative at Mamunagama Primary School

Mamunagama Primary School in Anamaduwa, Puttalam District, faces significant challenges, including the lack of a library facility and the absence of a proper drinking water system. With approximately 75 students, most of whom come from farming families, the need for improved educational and health infrastructure is urgent. Recognizing these issues, Gammadda has launched a transformative project to build a fully-equipped library and install a clean drinking water system at the school.

As part of the initiative, a dedicated library building will be constructed, furnished with wooden shelves, tables, and chairs to create a well-structured learning environment. Additionally, a water tower with a designated distribution point will be installed, along with a Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filtration system to ensure access to safe drinking water. These developments will provide students with essential educational resources and improve their overall well-being.

This project is made possible through the generous financial support of NEXT Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd, a company committed to corporate social responsibility and community development. With their contribution, Gammadda aims to empower children with better learning opportunities and access to clean water. As construction progresses, this initiative promises to create a lasting impact on the Mamunagama school community, fostering a brighter future for its students.
