Improving Library Facilities in Detagamuwa Junior School in Monaragala

The Detagamuwa Junior School in Kataragama is located in the Monaragala district.

More than 400 students receive education from grades 1 - 11.  These students show special interest in their academics and are in thirst for more knowledge.

Although they have a library in the school premises. It requires development, for students to completely benefit from it.

Gammadda has provided a few books along with few furniture such as; translation books, books related to aesthetic subjects and Newspaper reading tables and book racks in order help develop the school library.

This project benefited the students, teachers and staff immensely.

400 students in the Monaragala Detagamuwa Junior School now have access to new library facilities.
